Talking about death can be difficult, but for those that have been given their life expectancy it is an unavoidable subject for the individual and those that are close to them.

The Death Cafe movement is well established overseas and is gaining popularity here in the UK. After being approached by several different organisations we are now launching a new Death Cafe here at The Angel Centre.

Taking place on the first and third Friday of every month at 3pm, this group is not a bereavement group. It is a space for those who have been given their life expectancy to come together, enjoy tea and cake and talk about whatever topics they wish.

The first session will be on Friday 2nd September at 3pm here at The Angel (1 St Philip’s Place, Salford M3 6FA), so if this is something that is effecting you or someone close to you please get in touch to find out more – kate@socialadventures.org.uk
